NABJ Congratulates Region IV Director A.J. Ross on Joining WKYC-TV in Cleveland

WASHINGTON (March 27, 2013) —The National Association of Black Journalists (NABJ) congratulates member and Region IV Director A.J. Ross who will join WKYC-TV/Channel 3 News in Cleveland as a multimedia journalist in mid-April.

Ross was most recently a freelance reporter at WTAE-TV in Pittsburgh and a contributor to the New Pittsburgh Courier newspaper.  Previously, she was a reporter and fill-in anchor at WSYX-TV in Columbus, Ohio.

"I am thrilled for A.J. and excited she is taking another great step in her promising career,” said NABJ President Gregory Lee, Jr. "Viewers will be well served by A.J.’s natural curiosity, her quick wit, and her desire to tell a good story.”

Ross began her on-air career as a reporter/anchor at WMBF-TV in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Before becoming an on-air reporter she was a production assistant at ESPN.

A 2005 graduate of Howard University, Ross is also a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.
