The National Association of Black Journalists (NABJ) is gearing up for the nation's largest job fair for journalists and media professionals of color. This year's Career Fair will be held in beautiful Miami, Florida at the JW Marriott Miami Turnberry Resort & Spa, during the #NABJ19 Convention scheduled from Aug. 7-11.More than 70 corporations, organizations, institutions and other exhibitors will participate.
Individuals who have registered for #NABJ19 may upload their resumes now at the official NABJ Career Centerso employers can access them before, during and after the Career Fair. You may also submit resumes during the event.
Attendees are encouraged to bring resumes, business cards and be prepared to make a strong impression. The Career Fair, held from Aug. 7-9, will include opportunities to participate in on-site interviews and learn about career options at some of the nation's top media companies and top journalism schools. Back, by popular demand, is the NABJ Look Your Best Pavilion, which provides attendees with tips and tools to help them look their best professionally.
