NABJ President Sarah Glover Honored by Sharpton, NAN

National Association of Black Journalists (NABJ) President Sarah Glover was honored by Rev. Al Sharpton and the National Action Network (NAN) earlier this month. Glover was recognized by the civil rights activist, talk show host and minister during the Women’s Empowerment and Networking Luncheon held at the NAN annual convention in New York City. According to NAN, Glover was saluted for her journey as a journalism professional and leader fighting for diversity and inclusion in the media industry. 

“I am honored to share this honor with numerous influential black women leaders,” said Glover. “I remain committed to the important advocacy work and training we are doing at NABJ to ensure we prepare the way for the next generation of journalists of color and women who will emerge as leaders in our field.”
