As Region III Director the work I’ve done and the relationships I’ve helped elevate NABJ. Two successful and profitable regional conventions, one held for the first time on a cruise, provided professional development while continuing to address the changing needs of our journalists. Several new chapters have been inducted, and as a board member, I have increased my knowledge of organizational procedures. There is much more I would like my region to do in the coming years, and with the upcoming redistricting, I think that my experience in governance, member services and sponsor relations will be needed.
