NABJ Global Journalism Task Force Presents:
Training International Correspondents to Cover a Changing World

The world's citizens and leaders are watching the 2016 election of an American president as closely if not more closely than at any time in recent memory. What will this election mean for be international news coverage? Please join the NABJ Global Journailsm Taskforce for a special forum "Training International Correspondents to Cover a Changing World," which will be co-hosted by The Wall Street Journal at noon on Saturday, November 12th

The task force has invited a distinguished panel of editors, reporters and commentators to talk about what new challenges global correspondents will face and what new correspondents must learn in order to succeed. Attendees will learn the nuts and bolts of making the world accessible to those who depend on them for understanding.

The discussion will be followed by lunch and a pitch workshop in which attendees will be able to receive feedback and notes on their proposed foreign coverage projects with reporters and editors who have international experience.

Attendance is strictly limited to 70 NABJ/NAHJ members and students; RSVP’s MUST be received by November 4th. For those not in New York, the panel will be live streamed and online attendees will have the ability to ask questions.
