Visual Task Force (VTF) Scholarship

Number of Awards Available: 2
Amount of the Award: Up to $1,250

Eligibility Criteria
Competition for the scholarship is open to any NABJ student member who is currently attending an accredited four-year university or graduate program. Students must be enrolled as an undergraduate or graduate student who:

Declared a concentration in visual journalism

Maintains a minimum 2.75 GPA

Has experience working on their campus newspaper or TV studio

Has had an internship

Additional Criteria

To be considered and to receive a scholarship, all applicants must be a member of NABJ

Previous NABJ scholarship winners are not eligible

All scholarship winners must be members of NABJ before the grants are awarded

All grants are awarded directly to the recipient's college or university

Scholarships will be awarded upon proof of enrollment. The winner will be formally recognized on the NABJ Web site and in the convention program book.
