Registration Assistance Application

The National Association of Black Journalists has established tuition assistance for those who wish to attend the NABJ Convention and Career Fair, July 31-August 4, 2013 at the Gaylord Palms Resort and Convention Center in Orlando, Florida.
NABJ wants all members to have the opportunity to attend the convention regardless of their or their employers' current financial circumstances.
With the goal of providing educational support, career opportunities and multimedia skills to journalists of color, NABJ is pleased to announce assistance to provide complimentary or partial financial support for the registration cost only.
To be eligible for financial support, applicants must:
* be current NABJ member in good standing
* have a financial hardship due to loss of employment in the last 6 months
* have a financial hardship as a result of medical expenses and/or treatment for self or family member
The application is open to ALL applicants not currently registered for the 2013 NABJ Convention and Career Fair. Priority will be given to members who have been laid off within the past year.
Selected applicants will be awarded a complimentary or partial registration funding on a first come, first serve basis. Slots are limited.
To apply, members must complete and submit the application below by Friday, May 31, 2013.
