Founder's Memorial To Be Held At Press Club
WASHINGTON -- NABJ founder Mal Johnson will be honored during a memorial service on Nov. 30, by the National Council of Womens Organizations 3-5 p.m., at the National Press Club.
Johnson, one of NABJ's founding members and longtime treasurer, passed away on Oct. 27 at the age of 85.
In addition to her ardent work with NABJ, Johnson served on the NCWOs executive committee and served as chair of its global issues task force. She also edited NCWOs recent publication, 50 Ways to Improve Womens Lives: The Essential Womens Guide to Achieving Equality, Health and Success.
