As part of the Pulitzer Center's commitment to promoting diverse perspectives in journalism, we are inviting NABJ attendees to pitch international stories to our senior editor during the 2017 convention and career fair at booth #1015.

The Pulitzer Center provides funding for freelance and staff journalists to travel abroad and report on global stories. Every year, we support over 100 projects from all media, including print, photography, broadcast, and documentaries.

Is there an international story you have always wanted to report? Do you want to help your audience make connections with the lives of people around the world? Is there an international story that only you can tell from your unique perspective? Come pitch it to the Pulitzer Center!

Also join us on Wednesday, August 9, at 1:30 pm for a special workshop, "Breaking the Color Barrier in International Reporting." The New York Times homeland security correspondent Ron Nixon, NPR journalist Noel King, The New Yorker staff writer Alexis Okeowo, Foxtrot Alpha senior reporter Terrell Starr, and Buzzfeed Deputy World News Editor Hayes Brown will discuss their careers and how each of them became foreign correspondents.

If you have any questions, please contact Joan Woods at jwoods@pulitzercenter.org.
