NABJ Congratulates Andre Brooks on Being Named Executive Producer of "Good Day Colorado"

WASHINGTON, D.C. (April 7, 2015) – The National Association of Black Journalists (NABJ) congratulates member Andre Brooks on his new role as the executive producer of "Good Day Colorado.” KDVR, the Denver Fox affiliate, has announced the addition of Andre Brooks to its news team. Brooks has been named morning executive producer for “Good Day Colorado,” airing weekdays from 5:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m.
Brooks previously worked at NBC affiliate WDTN in Dayton, Ohio, where he was the assistant news director. Brooks has also worked in Washington, D.C. and San Diego, in various positions, including as a writer, producer, dayside EP and morning EP. Brooks’ new position is effective immediately.

to do," said NABJ Bob Butler. "It is vitally important that newsroom managers be from diverse backgrounds and have diverse experiences. Andre exemplifies someone who deserves the opportunity to contribute in an even larger way to his company and the journalism landscape.”
