NABJ Congratulates Wendy Wilson named Managing Editor of Jet Magazine

WASHINGTON, D.C. (January 7, 2014)—The National Association of Black
Journalists (NABJ) congratulates Wendy L. Wilson on being named managing editor
of Jet magazine.
Wilson previously was the news editor for Essence magazine, a Time Inc.
publication. At Essence she was
responsible for assigning and editing in-depth feature stories, profiles,
special reports and commentaries for the news section. In her new role, Wilson
will be responsible for generating and writing original stories, developing
content ideas for the magazine and its website, and generally assisting in the
growth of the Jet brand.
NABJ wishes Ms. Wilson much success in her new role.
