NABJ is an association of more than 4,000 journalists, students and media-related professionals that provides quality programs and services year-round to benefit black journalists worldwide. ON-SITE REGISTRATION
If you have not mailed your registration form and payment to NABJ by July 1, 2005, you MUST register on-site at the convention. No personal checks will be accepted on-site. Acceptable forms of on-site payments are cash, credit card and/or a company check only.
Don't wait. Registration deadlines will not be extended.
Your registration is not complete without full payment. Only credit card payments may be faxed. Your fax transmission report shall serve as receipt of a faxed registration until you receive your written NABJ confirmation letter. To eliminate duplicate registrations, please do not mail a registration form that has been faxed or completed on-line.
Registration fees cover attendance to all concurrent workshop sessions, pre-registered super workshops, three plenary sessions, the W.E.B. DuBois lecture, an awards banquet, media receptions, gospel brunch, and the ever-popular career fair and exhibit hall.
Meal costs are not deductible from the registration fee. Meal functions are on a first-come, first-serve basis and tickets are required.
Registration Confirmation You will receive written confirmation from NABJ of your registration within 10 days of receipt. Please bring your written confirmation letter with you to the convention to serve as your valid payment receipt. If you do not receive confirmation after 10 days, please call (301) 445-7100.
Registration Materials Convention materials include a convention briefcase and convention program book and much more. Registration materials for on-site and daily registrants will be limited to a first-come, first-served basis.
Convention Badges Your convention badge MUST be worn at all times! Your badge is your passport to enter all convention activities and events. No admittance to NABJ convention events without a badge. No Exceptions.
Registration Cancellation Policies All requests for refunds must be in writing; less $125 administrative fee for professionals and associates; less $25 administrative fee for students. Telephone cancellations will not be accepted.
No refunds will be made for requests after July 1. No Exceptions.
