Top Five Reasons To Attend UNITY 2004

Don't miss UNITY 2004, the single largest gathering of journalists ever held in the United States.
1. A successful UNITY convention means a more successful NABJ.
Your registration is critical to NABJ. Every dollar of each NABJ-member registration goes directly to our organization. What does this mean for you? Sustained NABJ operations, more programs and a multitude of services. This will allow NABJ to continue its mission of championing black journalists, fighting for greater newsroom diversity, and promoting fair and accurate coverage of the black community.
2. An agenda that promotes diversity in the industry.
As the oldest and largest of the alliance partners, we have been fighting for diversity in journalism for 30 years. By participating in UNITY, NABJ ensures that our voices and issues still count.
3. More than 120 workshops and professional development programs.
Participate in intensive skill-building sessions in print, broadcast or new media, and more.
4. Attend an extensive career fair with representatives from every media discipline.
If you're looking for a new job, there will be more than 200 recruiters seeking talent like yours.
5. Enjoy plenty of activities specifically created for NABJ members.
These include plenary sessions focusing on the issues affecting black journalists as well as special events and receptions. Back by popular demand, the NABJ Coast-to-Coast choir will make a special appearance at the Multicultural Brunch.

Remember, renew and register. It will go a long way toward supporting NABJ and black journalists everywhere.
