NABJ is honored to recognize outstanding advertising and marketing efforts — of individual items or components that contribute to the success of an overall program or campaign. These tactics — whether a newspaper, radio, or TV advertisement, collateral materials, or social media strategies— are the hard-working parts of any advertising or marketing program.

This award recognizes news outlets for their marketing or advertising efforts that have significantly contributed to advancing a community or public affairs initiative, demonstrates an extraordinary commitment to public service, and advances the African American community. This award recognizes print, radio, TV, and online media outlets that have made outstanding contributions to marketing/advertising news products and segments and topics of community interest.

Candidates are encouraged to submit print, radio or video creative, website, packaging, photographs of events or displays, premiums, research, clippings and other documentation of program impact.

Candidates are encouraged to submit print, radio or video creative, website, packaging, photographs of events or displays, premiums, research, clippings and other documentation of program impact. Radio coverage should be
submitted on a CD.

Candidates are encouraged to submit print, radio or video creative, website, packaging, photographs of events or displays, premiums, research, clippings and other documentation of program impact. TV coverage should be submitted on a DVD.
