Attention Job Seekers!

The National Association of Black Journalists (NABJ) and JournalismNext.com have created a special convention resume database to make your job search at this year’s convention easier. By submitting your resume to the official NABJ 2012 Convention Resume Database, employers can access it before, during and after the convention.   

Sending in your resume to the database is easy, just follow the directions below:

New JournalismNext.com Registrants

1)    Go to http://www.journalismnext.com/users/register.cfm.

2)    Log In

3)    Select "YOUR RESUME"

4)    Click "CREATE" 

5)    Select "YES" when asked if you will be attending the "2012 National Association of Black Journalists (NABJ) Convention in New Orleans"

6)    Insert your resume, YouTube links, clips and update/activate it.

7)    Search and apply for jobs on the Journalismnext.com that interest you and your resume will be sent electronically

Current Journalismnext.com Registrants

1)    Go to http://www.journalismnext.com/userlogin.cfm.

2)    Log In

3)    Select "YOUR RESUME"

4)    Click "EDIT"

5)    Select "YES" when asked if you will be attending the "2012 National Association of Black Journalists (NABJ) Convention in New Orleans"

6)    Insert your updated resume, YouTube links, clips and update/activate it.

7)    Search and apply for jobs on the Journalismnext.com that interest you and your resume will be sent electronically.

 

PLEASE NOTE: RESUMES THAT HAVE BEEN ON JOURNALISMNEXT.COM LONGER THAN A YEAR HAVE EXPIRED.  YOU WILL NEED TO LOG IN AND REACTIVATE IT AGAIN.
