For 30 years, NABJ members have expressed their passion, pride, purpose and power at our annual conventions and through their courage, creativity and leadership. NABJ is fortunate that many talented members and friends have captured these expressions through photographic and other images. They are keepsakes and presented below in video format for your viewing pleasure.

The videos feature images from more than 40 photographers whose work serves to help us all understand how important and successful our conventions are to us as an association, as black journalists and as a people. Prepare to be amazed to see just how many newsmakers, entertainers and celebrities have enhanced our annual gatherings. Prepare to applaud the men and women who founded NABJ and those elected to lead it. Prepare to be inspired and exhilarated.

Besides the photographers and designers, several members of the 30th Anniversary Committee and staffers at the national office helped to produce these fantastic presentations. A very special thanks to them all.

NABJ conventions throughout the years have set the stage for intense dialogue, warm reunions, political debate and history-making change for American journalism. Join us for a musical and pictorial look back at the last 30 years.
