30 Moments of the Past 30 Years

As part of its 30th anniversary celebration, NABJ is presenting the best and worst moments in black journalism in the past 30 years. 30 Moments in Journalism is an extraordinary and lasting collection of the most significant efforts involving black journalists between 1975 and 2005. 		Overview Learn what led up to the "30 Moments" being unveiled at the Presidents Plenary: 30 Minutes in Time, held Thursday, Aug. 4, 2005, during NABJ's 30th anniversary convention at the Hyatt Regency Atlanta.
		Other Notable Moments Far more than 30 moments have shaped the past three decades of journalism. They include those such as the "Daily News Four" (left), who helped break down discrimination barriers for black journalists. Read more.
